National Park Elopement in Moab

Moab is a truly special place to Lexi and Adam. So much so that not only did they get engaged there, but also returned, their four children in tow, for their elopement.

This one is truly special to Lauren and me too. The entire day felt as if it was one big family hangout in some of the most gorgeous places Utah has to offer. It was as heartfelt and down-to-earth as a wedding can get. Between everyone getting ready in a parking lot at Dead Horse Point State Park, to Lexi’s daughter walking her to the ceremony spot overlooking the Colorado River where Adam and his sons were waiting, and throughout the beautiful ceremony by Jen of Wilde Heart Weddings, everything was done with intention and joy.

And when the sun broke through the clouds right as Lexi and Adam were sharing their vows? Everyone gasped, and no one left without a tear shed.

After dinner, we all went back to Arches National Park for some incredible night photography underneath the stars at The Windows. It was beyond amazing to watch the shooting stars under the arch while crying from laughing so hard.
